- 75 g Butter
- 400 g White bread sliced.
- 2 tbsp Drinking chocolate
- 2 Egg(s) (free range)
- 250 ml Milk (whole)
- 250 ml Single cream
- 100 g Dark chocolate grated
- 3 tbsp Unrefined golden granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp Almonds (flaked)

Butter a 1.5 litre baking dish with the butter. Use remaining butter to butter the sliced bread. Cut the bread into triangles, and arrange neatly and compactly in the dish. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan 160°C, gas mark 4).

Mix together the drinking chocolate, eggs, milk, single cream, grated chocolate and sugar. Pour the cream mix evenly over the bread. Set aside to soak for 15 minutes.

Sprinkle the pudding with the flaked almonds. Bake for 40 minutes. Serve hot with custard or cream.
