- 175 g Plain wholemeal flour
- 150 g Unrefined golden granulated sugar
- 25 g Cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 115 g Butter (salted) melted
- 2 Egg(s) (free range) lightly beaten
- 275 g Banana(s) very ripe, mashed
- 100 g Dark chocolate cut into small chunks

Preheat the oven to 190°C (170°C fan, gas mark 5). Line a 900g (2lb) loaf tin with baking paper.

Mix the flour, golden granulated sugar, cocoa powder, bicarbonate of soda and baking powder in a bowl.
For this step you'll need:
- 175g Plain wholemeal flour
- 150g Unrefined golden granulated sugar
- 25g Cocoa powder
- 1tsp Bicarbonate of soda
- 1tsp Baking powder

In a seperate bowl mix the butter, eggs, bananas and chocolate together.
For this step you'll need:
- 115g Butter (salted) melted
- 2 Egg(s) (free range) lightly beaten
- 275g Banana(s) very ripe, mashed
- 100g Dark chocolate cut into small chunks

Fold the banana mixture well into the dry ingredients and place the mixture into the prepared loaf tin.

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Cool in the tin and serve sliced.
