- 110 g Mature cheddar cheese grated.
- 110 g Plain white flour
- 110 g Butter
- Mustard powder
- 50 g Pecan nuts

Set the oven to 190°C (fan 170°C, gas mark 5).

Place the flour and butter into a bowl, rub the butter into the flour to make fine crumbs. Stir in the Cheddar and mustard powder and bring the dough together with your hands to make a soft dough.
For this step you'll need:
- 110g Plain white flour
- 110g Butter
- 110g Mature cheddar cheese grated.
- pinch Mustard powder

Place heaped teaspoonfuls on a baking tray, spaced a little apart so that the biscuits can spread. Place a pecan on each one and bake for 12-15 minutes until pale gold.

- 50g Pecan nuts

Allow to cool for 10 minutes on the tray then move to a wire rack to finish cooling.
