- 225 g Strong white bread flour
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Unrefined golden caster sugar
- 15 g Butter (unsalted) melted
- 7 g Easy bake yeast
- 125 ml Warm water
- 1 Egg(s) (free range)

Place all the dough into a large bowl, mix and then knead for 10 minutes (or knead for 5 minutes in a machine with a dough hook attached).
For this step you'll need:
- ½tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Unrefined golden caster sugar to coat
- 15g Butter (unsalted) melted
- 7g Easy bake yeast
- 125ml Warm water
- 1 Egg(s) (free range)

Cut the dough into 8 and shape into balls. Leave to prove until double in size on a greased tray.

Heat the oil in a pan to a medium heat (140°C) and deep fry the donuts until golden brown, drain and toss in sugar.

When cool, place the jam in a piping bag. Make a small hole in the side of each doughut, fill with jam then coat in caster sugar and serve.
