- 700 g Strawberries
- 140 g Unrefined demerara sugar
- 115 g Plain wholemeal flour
- 85 g Butter (unsalted)
- 1 tsp Black pepper ground
- 100 g Macadamia nuts
- 50 g Porridge oats rolled

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan, gas mark 6).

Place the strawberries in a 20×25 cm (8×10 in) ovenproof dish and sprinkle over 30g of demerara sugar.
For this step you'll need:
- 30g Unrefined demerara sugar
- 700g Strawberries

In a food processor blend together the flour, remaining sugar and butter until combined.
For this step you'll need:
- 115g Plain wholemeal flour
- 140g Unrefined demerara sugar
- 85g Butter (unsalted)

Add the pepper, nuts and oats and pulse until the nuts are roughly chopped.
For this step you'll need:
- 1tsp Black pepper ground
- 100g Macadamia nuts
- 50g Porridge oats rolled

Tip the crumble mix over the strawberries, spread out evenly and press down.

Use a fork to loosen the top a little and bake in the oven for 35 minutes until golden.

Serve with clotted cream or custard.
