Ingredients
For the dough
- 260 ml Warm water
- 60 ml Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1½ tsp Salt
- 450 g Very strong white bread flour
- 2½ tsp Easy bake yeast
For the filling
- 400 g Sausage meat pork
- 1 Apple(s) cored, grated
- ½ Onion(s) finely chopped
- 3 tbsp Parsley filling
- 1 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 1 Egg(s) (free range) to glaze
- Black pepper
- Salt

Put the dough ingredients into the bread maker baking pan in the order specified for your particular model (see manufacturer’s handbook).

Set to the dough program.

When the cycle is complete shape and bake the dough as directed in the traditional method below (Step 6).

If using the traditional method, put the flour, salt and yeast into a bowl and mix to a dough with the honey, oil and water.
For this step you'll need:
- 450g Very strong white bread flour
- pinch Salt
- 2½tsp Easy bake yeast
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 60ml Olive oil
- 260ml Warm water

Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile prepare the filling by squashing all the ingredients together in a bowl.
For this step you'll need:
- 400g Sausage meat pork
- 1 Apple(s) cored, grated
- ½ Onion(s) finely chopped
- 3 tbsp Parsley filling
- 1tsp Tabasco sauce
- Black pepper
- pinch Salt

Roll the dough into a square about 30 x 30 cm.

Shape the sausagemeat into a roll to fit down the centre of the dough, leaving 3cm uncovered at each end.
For this step you'll need:
- 400g Sausage meat pork

Brush the edges of the dough with water and bring them up to cover the filling, crimping the edges together to seal completely.

Cover with a tea towel and leave to prove for 20-30 minutes.

Brush with egg wash and bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (180°C fan, 400°F, gas mark 6) turning the oven down immediately to 190°C (170°C fan, 375°F, gas mark 5).

Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
