- 75 g Self-raising wholemeal flour
- 75 g Porridge oats
- 75 g Unrefined demerara sugar
- 100 g Butter (unsalted) softened
- 100 g Glace cherries

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C (gas mark 4). Grease a shallow baking tin 28x18x4cm (11x7x1½).

Mix the flour, oats and sugar in a bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
For this step you'll need:
- 75g Self-raising wholemeal flour
- 75g Porridge oats
- 75g Unrefined demerara sugar
- 100g Butter (unsalted) softened

Evenly spread half the mixture over the base and gently press.

Spread the cherries over the oaty base. Cover with the remaining oat mixture and press down.
For this step you'll need:
- 100g Glace cherries

Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.

Leave to cool in the tin. Cut into 12 piece and serve.
