Ingredients
- 250 g Plain white flour
- 250 g Very strong white bread flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Unrefined golden caster sugar
- 60 ml Butter (unsalted) melted
- 3 tbsp Warm water
- 260 ml Milk (whole)
- 7 g Easy bake yeast
- 1 Egg(s) (free range) for egg wash
For the filling
- Double cream whipped
- Jam

Put the flours, salt, sugar and yeast into a bowl.
For this step you'll need:
- 250g Plain white flour
- 250g Very strong white bread flour
- 1tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Unrefined golden caster sugar
- 7g Easy bake yeast

Mix to a soft dough with the butter, water and milk.
For this step you'll need:
- 60ml Butter (unsalted) melted
- 3 tbsp Warm water
- 260ml Milk (whole)

Turn onto a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes.

Divide the dough into 10 and shape each piece into a flat round bun.

Place the buns on a greased baking sheet and cover with a tea towel. Leave to prove until double in size. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan 180°C, gas mark 6).

Brush with egg wash and bake in an oven for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Fill with whipped cream and jam.
