Melon Sago't Gulaman
Ingredients
1 Medium Sized Melon(Cantaloupe)
1 pack (25g) Unflavored Orange Gelatin Powder
6 cups Water
2 cups Mini Sago (Tapiocal Pearl)
1 Big Can (370ml) Evaporated Milk
1 Big Can (300ml) Condensed Milk
1 pack (250ml) All-purpose cream
Sugar to taste
Procedure
1. In a pot disssolve 1 pack unflavored orange gelatin powder in water. Turn on the stove and stir over medium heat until it boils. Pour into a mold. Let it cool to set. Onced it cool, cut jelly into cubes.
2. Cut Melon (Cantaloupe) into half. Remove seeds and pulps with a spoon and put into a bowl. Add 1/2 cup water into the bowl. Mix and press the seeds and pulps to extract the juice. Strain the mixture and reserve the juice. Shred the melon and set aside.
3. In a bowl combine melon juice, evaporated milk, condensed milk, all-purpose cream and sugar to taste. Mix. Add shredded melon, orange jelly cubes and cooked mini sago. Mix well.
4. Pour mixture into a cup or a container. Top with strips of melon. Chill before serving.
