Kaldereta is a type of meat stew tomato-based Filipino dish. It is similar to Afritada, Mechado, and Menudo. Afritada uses chicken, Mechado uses beef while Menudo uses pork & liver. Best served with steaming hot white rice and patis with red chili and a squeeze of kalamansi.
